At Dot-Tone-Designs, exceptional print quality begins long before the ink reaches the screen. That's why we're proud to have Dot-Tone Dan (Dan Campbell) serving as our Lead Screen Print Separation Specialist and Consultant. With over 35 years of experience in screen printing, graphic design, and production art, Dan is recognized throughout the screen printing industry as a leader in professional and high end color separations with prepress solutions.
Dan has an exceptional background being employed with many well known business's over the years in the apparel industry with known names such as...
Russell Athletics, M&R Screen Printing Equipment, Disney's Design Group, Ohio Pyle Prints and Legends Global to name a few. Dan has partnered with and contributed separations to winning 10 industry screen printing competition awards ranging from Gold, Silver and Bronze over the years. Dan has created cover art for PrintWear Magazine and has written several articles for Impressions Magazine.
His expertise includes an arsenal of techniques depending on the style of art and color limitations using simulated process, index color, spot color, traditional halftones, stochastic printing and specialty printing techniques.
Throughout his career in Screen printing, Dan has partnered with thousands of screen printers and apparel decorators around the world, providing expert color separations, production artwork, and technical solutions for businesses of every size—from startup print shops to large commercial operations. His reputation has been built on creating separations that are not only visually impressive but engineered to print efficiently, consistently, and accurately.
Dan also works directly with other screen-printing businesses to provide professional consulting services in several areas of operation including The art departments, Screen room and production area and on press with special dedication towards Simulated process and 4 color process printing.
Dan also specializes in consultation assistance with the M&R I-Image CTS machines providing Annual Maintenance servicing, updating and halftone output optimization. He helps shops improve production workflows, solve difficult printing challenges, optimize artwork, reduce waste, and maximize profitability. His practical, real-world experience has made him a trusted advisor for screen printers seeking to elevate the quality of their work and the efficiency of their operations.
